The SEA Book Club

The Social and Environmental Action (SEA) Committee has birthed a SEA Book Club/Discussion Group, which will meet at 7pm on the last Thursday of each month from February – July, 2019. First meeting 7pm Thursday, February 28, 2019  in the Wright Room at NUUC. Gillian Hegge, Helen Armstrong and Dina Waik will help create space for reflection on social inequity and climate change through the books we read. We plan on reading both fiction and non-fiction and will be starting with

Yuval Hoah Harari’s 21 Lessons for the 21st Century

The book includes 21 lessons/chapters and we will discuss three lessons/chapters at a time, which will ease the burden for those of us who don’t always have the time to finish a whole book every month.
