This past summer, several people from our congregation were trained as Our Whole Lives (OWL) facilitators, a program that teaches children and youth about healthy bodies, relationships and sexuality. This program is a holistic approach to understanding our bodies and our relationships in a healthy environment.
This is an authentically Unitarian Universalist program and it is something I am proud to offer to our community. We will be offering the Kindergarten to Grade 1 course from the end of October to the beginning of December. And similarly, we will be offering the Grades 4–6 program in the Spring.
This program is an invitation to our community to find out more than simply what we do on Sunday mornings. Please pass this program along to your family and friends. Invite them to join in on this character-building opportunity. You can read more about the OWL program at http://www.uua.org/re/owl or email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
