Our middle group called "Seekers" engages in various learning methods to deepen their understanding of themselves and the world around them. Through play, story, art and conversation, the youth learn about social justice issues, character development and spiritual learnings from many places.
Activities include learning about Non-violent protesting, welcoming art projects for incoming refugees, practicing meditation and drama games teaching co-operation and care.
For youth in grades 7-9 we offer a wonderful program called OWL (Our Whole Lives) which teaches healthy bodies, minds and relationships in human sexuality in age appropriate ways. We offer this program at differing times and alternate years. Stay tuned for the next session! For more information about what is happening in OWL, please click here.
This group is lead by Margaret Evans, our Director of Lifespan Learning.
