Meditation

DSCN2670Meditation is a wonderful tool. Humans have used some form of meditation for over 20,000 years. It appears in all cultures and we have used it to clear our minds, to help us with grief and to help us find peace. Other forms of meditation offer intellectual focus and psychological insight. There are many reasons to practice meditation.

Almost every Sunday we have a meditation within our Sunday Service. We also offer various meditation sessions, including:
Meditation with Rev. Wayne Walder, every Wednesday evening 7:30-8:30 pm
Morning Chant with Susanne Maziarz and Fred Maycock, monthly usually each 3rd Sunday 9:45-10:15 am
Movement Meditation with live music by Paul Gasztold and Balazs Farkas, monthly each 3rd Friday 7-8 pm
Singing Meditation with Susanne Maziarz and Fred Maycock, monthly usually each 3rd Sunday 6:15-8 pm

See calendar for specific dates for these events. (Note: many recurring events may be suspended during summer months.) Also, consider attending a Silent Retreat weekend (visit Mindful Journeys page and click on Silent Retreat tab).
